While the Western Ghats are home to well developed coffee plantations for over a century, the tribal areas in the picturesque Eastern Ghats of northren Andhra Pradesh and southern Orissa - Araku Valley are emerging as a newly developing coffee region.

 

The coffees of this region have medium body, medium to sharp acidity and intense aroma with a spicytinge.
